Ebony singer, song writer and actress Mariah Carey is so famous there is little point in giving things like her birth date and early stuff. 

Everyone knows Mariah.  She’s made sure of that!

But you have to admire this curvy ebony celeb for being truthful about what some would see as her ‘faults’.

At a recent concert in Borgata, Mariah Carey had service fit for a queen and rightfully so.

This fantastically successful black female star has sold more records than Elvis.

She is the most successful female singer/songwriter of all time. 

The girl deserves respect!

Evidently at the Borgata concert, Mariah had stagehands bring out a chaise lounge, retouch her hair and makeup and even pour her a glass of champagne.

All in  front of her adoring audience.

As she lay back on her onstage throne, the queen diva of pop playfully asked her audience:

“Do they expect me to stand up for the whole show? They call me a diva… because I am.”

Fair enough Mariah.  You tell ‘em!

Mariah Carey Admits To Being Drunk On Stage:

And as to reports of Mariah Carey being drunk on stage…well,she admits this too!

Other celebrities try to deny the evidence when they are drunk or high on stage.

But not Mariah Carey.

She just laughs off the embarrassment and gets on with her life. just how a drunken diva should act!

At the Palm Springs International Film Festival, Mariah Carey was given an award for Breakthrough Actress’  for her role in the film ‘Precious’.  She gave a very slurred and long acceptance speech which was, quite frankly, embarrassing to watch.

The audience must have thought Mariah’s acceptance speech would never end, as she slurred on and on…and seemed out of her head to most observant eyes.

But when questioned later about her ‘performance’ at the awards ceremony, Mariah Carey was upfront about the whole thing.

She admitted she had been drunk when she took the stage to accept her award.  She had had "splashes of champagne" just before.

According To Mariah:

"We’d been sitting there, celebrating this whole time and having little splashes, and I hadn’t eaten…..if people knew me they’d understand and have a sense of humor. And basically that’s what gets me through life."

Sounds good enough to me!

Mariah Carey will never be out of the celebrity gossip columns, often for things she would rather were not publicised so openly.

But at least she takes it all with a smile.

And she still looks completely gorgeous after all these years.

Just look at that recent sexy photo of Mariah.  she’s still got the curves we have all grown to love.

(Sometimes Mariah is a little more curvy than others…but she still look hot!)
